Applications are invited from qualified candidates to The Kenya Youth Employment and Opportunities Project KYEOP.  Kyeop is a national youth empowerment project that is being implemented by Government of Kenya over a five year period.

The aim of the Government is to increase employment and earning opportunities to youth aged between 18-29 years and who have Form Four education and below. The Project will be implemented in a number of cycles over the 5 year period, with each cycle lasting 6 months.

What you need to know:

The Kenya Youth Employment and Opportunities Project (KYEOP) are being implemented by the Government of Kenya over a four year period. It aims to increase employment and earning opportunities to youth aged between 18-29 years and who have Form Four education and below. The Project will be implemented in a number of cycles over the 5 year period, with each cycle lasting 6 months.

The youth empowerment programme will be offered free of charge to beneficiaries by the Government of Kenya.

Applications are now invited from the youth residing in the following counties: Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru and Kwale.

Youth Employment Application Requirements

(a) 18-29 yrs

(b) Should have a National ID

(c) Form 4 education and below

(d) Do not currently have a job

Areas of training under master craftsmen: Areas of Formal Technical Training: Ministry of Public Service, Youth & Gender A­ airs Ministry of EAC, Labour & Social Protection

What will participants receive?

Life Skills Training & Core Business Skills Training (1 month)

Technical Skills Training:
1. Attend 2 months
Formal Skills Training
followed by 3 months
Internship. OR
2. Join a Master
Craftsman
for 5 months
Apprenticeship

Obtain training and support to start or grow your business.

Fill out an application form that is available online at mis.kyeop.go.ke or at Ministry of Public Service, Youth & Gender Affairs sub-county offices in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru and Kwale 2.
